The Journey

2006
The First Step : The Journey started with a Group, named Creative Teens’ Club on Yahoo! Groups which was founded on Mar 23, 2006, with a motive to enable students share anything.. articles, poems, jokes, pics etc., the motto for our group “Making Net a Source of Education” was coined by my friend Rahul Dhingra, he has helped CTC grow through the beginning.

What was Interesting : Our team member Toshit Agarwal  posted a funny jokes everyday on CTC Group. During vacations our English teacher Mrs. Komal Bakshi read the funny jokes everyday on her trip to Singapore.

Further: And during the summers of 2006 (when I was in 9th), a proper website was on the move. We hosted it on free webspace provided by Bravehost.com.

2007

Anniversary Day : On 23. March 2007, we celebrated the First Anniversary of  Creative Teens’ Club, as a web meeting on Yahoo Messenger, The main participants were Ujjwal Gupta (from Don Bosco, Kolkata), Toshit Aggarwal (DAV, Gurgaon), Aditi (from Mumbai), Geetika Mittal (DAV, Gurgaon), On 23 March, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru were hanged to death by British Government, this was the Topic of discussion.

Help from Teachers : The website on showing it to my school computer teachers they started pointing out negative points, I am very thankful to our Aparna Mam, Vandana Tyagi Mam and Anju Jhanji Mam to tell me, from time to time about the problems which enabled us to improve further.

The New Website: It was in class X, when the actual website came up, the domain www.creativeteensclub.org was taken on 21, June. I made a new website, because the earlier website was not much interactive.

The Magic : After the release of the website, soon there was BOOM!! of Visitors, thousands of hits per day. There was really a magic, after exactly a month of the new website Harry Potter’s last book was released on 21 July, 2007, that was posted to be downloaded free of cost from our website on 20 July 2007.

A Step Ahead : During the end of year there was another move ahead to improve our website. Now the actual dream was nearly accomplished. Students and teachers now could post on the website themselves, make friends, create Blog, and also the forums could now be added. But lacked the proper arrangement and functionality.

Project Help to Students : In December, students were making Mathematics Projects, to be marked in CBSE Boards, I got very ODD topic, GEOMETRY IN REAL LIFE. When I checked Yahoo Answers, many students had posted Questions on help regarding this Project topic from around India. So as I got the Material and Ideas about the projects, I posted on this new website, This helped many Students and many students from my school added a thank note to Creative Teens’ Club in their Projects.

2008

CBSE Boards : It was January, and Pre-Boards were on head, I was preparing for three subjects with full efforts, as I was studying I started posting few assignments and tips for other students. Soon it was everywhere on Google Search regarding CBSE Class 10 boards

During the Board Exams : Even during Board Exams I posted Tips regarding revision and assignments and important questions that I encountered or any teacher told me.

And after the exams I had time only.. rather than wasting it off I decided to learn and do something great for the website and it is now in front of you.

 NOW: Today on CTC, we have both online study portal, where interested and dedicated teachers can join and teach students in Classroom type environment and help students by solving their Problems.

 Creative Teens' Club is approved as Children Safe Website by World's well known and UK's most reputed website Safe Sites For Children (Click here to go).
